Muffin Talk….. it’s what people in the biz (food biz) do… they talk shop. And the shop happens to be muffin talk… especially if said food biz folks are bakers. Or pastry chefs.
I am a pastry chef by trade–I have worked in the bakery at Deer Valley Resort in Park City Utah for over 25 years.
The photo is me, reading my cookbook, Chocolate Snowball, with Carlos our dog. Carlos likes it when I cook, but the only sample he gets is on our home kitchen floor.
And I am a vegetarian gourmet cook by passion, having followed this way of eating for more than 35 years. Muffin talk is about the food I am cooking, be it sweet or savory. Summer posts are recipes using Ranui Gardens CSA weekly produce.
Great site–I just wish I had the time to try all the recipes
Letty–we just need to be retired!!!

Please see my comment on your Greens and Beans soup post.
Amazing! I loved it!
I just found your blog – and the first thing I noticed was the photo of the dishes. I saw the yellow bowl with the red scallops and though that I had same bowl. Then I said to myself that I had some of the other bowls. Then I realized that those are my bowls! How cool is that. You took a class at AndyFood and took the pic… I’m enjoying your blog…
Hi Andy,
The truth is–my friend Gwen from Scottsdale set up the blog initially and I love the bowls so much I keep them there. Maybe you know Gwen from penandfork.com.
Glad you are enjoying my blog–keep cooking.
Letty
I do know Gwen – she and PenandFork are wonderful!
